Topics I don’t have time for: Education Through Pornography (porn has taught me a lot), The Aesthetics of Hugging (not everyone deserves a hug), & I LOVE TreeTown Best When Everyone Is at the Game
So, got a new phone system and I’m a little ashamed to say, I AM TOTALLY CRANKED BY IT WE HAVE NEEDED ONE FOR SO LONG FINALLY SOMETHING TO TAKE CARE OF CONFERENCE CALLS A PHONE FOR EVERY FLOOR RINGTONES UP THE WAZOO AND DAY/EVENING RINGING SCHEDULE HOLD INTERCOM CALL TRANSFER YES YES YES! Alright that’s done. Needless to say, I didn’t get much done since I very much enjoy reading manuals and learning anything’s strengths and weaknesses. I did buy some good food from the grocery store that I’m proud to eat (as of late I’ve felt guilty for not getting the diet back on plan) and make for myself, got some cleaning done, took care of some clients. Then, decadently, I later went to G’s sister’s and won Mario Party 6. There was a good chat that fostered the above topics.
So, a plan, plan, need a plan for the day, so I don’t waste too much time… Hmm, let me think… plan… Let’s start with options:
- 1.5 hrs: Read a bit of Modern Buddhist Bible (local guy edited it).
- 0.5 hrs: Go see today’s client.
- 1.0 hrs: Finish buying the good food for the weekend.
- N/A hrs: Actually enjoy the holiday weekend and not slam myself for being inefficient.
- 3.0 hrs: Go see a movie with BF: The Wicker Man, Little Miss Sunshine, The Illusionist. (I am drawn to these for disparate reasons, obviously.)
- 2.5 hrs: Finish 6 loads of laundry, iron ~10 shirts & ~6 pants.
- 9.0 hrs: Be decadent and see all three films. Fuck the work!
- 0.5 hrs: Tidy & clean kitchen.
- 3.0 hrs: Clean & wash floor (including wood restoration).
- 0.5 hrs: Trim dog’s nails.
- 3.0 hrs?: Play with blog layout and design, implement Dreamweaver extensions for Movable Type.
1.0 hrs: Upgrade Movable Type to latest version (‘cuz newer is better)Wait a month, see if this need stays with you.
Now if only my day had 37 hours…
